Giving Back to the Community: Down Syndrome Association North Bay

This past March we had the pleasure of sponsoring and attending the annual Voices 4 Down Syndrome Gala. The gala is a fundraiser for the Down Syndrome Association North Bay (DSANB), an organization that supports individuals with Down syndrome and their families.

At Savant Solutions, giving back to our community is part of what drives us to continue to grow. We’re humbled by the work DSANB is doing, and grateful they let us participate in their recent event. We chose this nonprofit because of their particular organizational structure: everyone is a volunteer. Because there’s no paid staff, every dollar raised goes right to the programs that impact these individuals and families.

The night of the Gala was so special, and extremely successful. Thanks to extremely generous attendees, DSANB raised over $185,000! The funds raised will support ongoing programming, as well as their newest goal: $2 million for a special needs baseball field, the first of it’s kind in the North Bay.
